Human encroachment is bringing species to the brink of extinction

The rate of extinction has rapidly increased in recent years due to human intervention. We are on track to lose two-thirds of wild animals by 2020. This figure will rise 60% in the next three years. We aim to inspire global empathy and compassion for all things wild. We are dedicated to raising global awareness of the plight of endangered species and galvanizing the power of media to catalyze change. Soon these iconic species could just be a memory.

We can Save Together

Congressional bill H.R. 2603 aims to remove Africa’s species from the Endangered Species Act. Congress is considering HR 2603, which aims to exclude non-U.S. species from the most basic protections of the Endangered Species Act. This includes Africa’s most vulnerable species, like elephants and rhinos. They’re calling it the SAVES Act, but the only thing this bill protects is wildlife traffickers’ profits.

The U.S. Endangered Species Act (“ESA”) is one of the world’s most indispensable environmental laws, essential to saving imperiled wildlife across the globe. But despite the ESA’s undeniable success in protecting wildlife and ecosystems in the U.S. and abroad, some powerful members of Congress and special interest groups are trying to dismantle the law.

We need your help to save this landmark Act before it’s too late.
